Logging & Tagging Trips

One of the goals of the Austin Commuter Challenge is to help reduce our carbon footprint. As a result we do not want to include miles ridden for sport or fitness. If you race, participate in group/charity ride, or go tooling around the neighborhood please be sure to follow these instructions.

– Click on the Create/Edit My Rides link

– Save a One Way ride with one of the following labels (Race, Group Ride, Fitness)

– You will need to enter a distance & time initially, but you will be able to change this when you log your trip

When you participate in this ride type you will select it from the My Rides list on your dashboard. It will pre-fill the distance and time you selected when you created the ride. Type in the correct distance and time and click submit.

By following these steps I will be able to remove this mileage from our carbon calculation.
